What sr22finder.com is
sr22finder.com is an independent publisher of information about state financial-responsibility filings — SR-22 and FR-44 certificates — and about ignition interlock requirements. It publishes advertising for licensed insurance agencies.
What sr22finder.com is not
sr22finder.com is not an insurance agency, insurance broker, producer, agent or carrier. It holds no insurance license in any state. It does not sell, solicit, negotiate, bind, alter, renew or cancel any insurance policy, does not file SR-22 or FR-44 certificates with any state, and does not sell, install, service, calibrate or lease ignition interlock devices.
Nothing on this site is insurance advice, legal advice, tax advice or financial advice. Nothing on this site creates any agency, fiduciary or client relationship. Sending an enquiry does not bind cover and does not place any insurance.
How we are paid
Licensed insurance agencies pay sr22finder.com a fixed advertising fee for each enquiry. The fee is agreed in advance. It does not depend on the premium you are quoted, on whether you buy anything, on the size or duration of any policy, or on any commission an agency earns. We receive the same amount whatever you decide.
We do not rank, score, rate, endorse or recommend any agency, carrier or interlock provider, and we are not paid more for sending an enquiry to one rather than another. There is no “best” list on this site and there will not be one.
What happens to an enquiry
An enquiry you send is passed to no more than three licensed insurance agencies that advertise for your state. Those agencies receive your name, telephone number, email address and ZIP code, together with the page and state the enquiry came from, and they contact you directly using those details. They are separate businesses. sr22finder.com does not supervise, control or review their advice, their quotes, their pricing or their conduct, and does not independently verify any statement they make to you.
Enquiries are not reviewed by sr22finder.com before they are sent, and sr22finder.com does not attempt to match you with the “right” agency. The agencies that receive your enquiry are the agencies advertising for that territory.
The consent you give
The consent text shown above the button on every form on this site reads as follows, and a verbatim copy of it is recorded with your enquiry at the moment you send it:
By clicking “Get my quote” I provide my ESIGN signature and my express written consent for sr22finder.com and up to three licensed insurance agencies or their authorized callers to contact me at the telephone number and email address I entered, about SR-22, FR-44 and ignition interlock filings and the auto insurance that goes with them. I agree they may use automated telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, and SMS or MMS text messages, and I agree they may reach me outside the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in my time zone. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service — every page on this site is free to read and you can ask for the same information in writing at contact@sr22finder.com. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Any dispute about these calls or texts is to be raised with us first at that address, and if it cannot be settled it is to be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court or as part of a class action. California residents: see the disclaimer linked in the footer for the categories of personal information collected, the fact that we disclose your enquiry to those agencies for their own use, and how to ask us to delete it.
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, by telling any caller to place you on their internal do-not-call list, or by writing to contact@sr22finder.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything else on this site: every page remains free to read.
California residents
If you send an enquiry, the categories of personal information collected are identifiers (your name, telephone number, email address and ZIP code) and internet activity (the page the enquiry came from and the traffic source). That information is disclosed to up to three licensed insurance agencies for their own use in contacting you, which may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under California law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. To ask what we hold, to ask us to delete it, or to opt out of that disclosure, write to contact@sr22finder.com with the email address or telephone number you used.
Accuracy and currency
Statutory amounts, filing periods and interlock rules change, sometimes on a fixed future date already written into the statute. Every figure on this site carries the date it was read and the date it took effect. Nothing here is a substitute for the notice you received from a court or a state agency, which is the authority on your own case. How the figures were gathered, and which states could not be read directly, is set out on the methodology page.
Trade marks
State agency names, statute citations and any product names used on this site are used for identification only. Their use does not imply any endorsement of, affiliation with or sponsorship by those bodies.
